This is the kind of book that you want to start reading early in the day and know that you'll want to read as much as you can before anything else happens.
I read it in two days, and that's because I needed to leave the first day. I got so much into this, that I started yelling "Oh no way!", when it all goes down at the end.
Especially when Julia and Austin realize that they are right back where it all started a thousand years ago! The same people are back and they have waited
all this time in hell to come back and finish the job, so to speak. You are right there with them hoping that somehow, as desperate as the situation is, they're going
to get out. I really like Tyler too. I get that from the moment she sees Austin, she remembers the romance when they were the French lovers. I totally know how it feels
to like two guys. Anyway, that's all I'm gonna say but Julia is certainly not the only one who had to choose between two boys. Lol! I'm hooked! More books please.

5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic reading, October 31, 2012

I am so in love with these characters! This is such a great book! You never know what to expect. I dont know what all these comments about Twilight and Hunger Games are about. Frankly, I liked Twilight, and I absolutely loved Hunger Games. Eternal pulls you in just like Hunger Games. I found myself deciding not to go somewhere, just to finish the book. It was worth it! So I get it, but it is a very original story. The love story from the past comes crashing into the love story now. The girl is a better person in the end. You want someone to save julia, but she's the one who has to save everybody. I loved the surprises. Now we wait for the second book...

5.0 out of 5 stars What an original story..., October 28, 2012

This is such an original story! You just love Julia and her soul mate, Austin. But you can't help liking the ex-boyfriend too. You know that Julia has mixed feelings too, by the way. Yet Austin was her true love centuries ago, so you kind of want him to win. So the love story is incredible. The one from the past and ther one now. And this is one really scary book! You read fast and get to the point when you find out what happens, if they make it, if someone dies! Then you go back and read again not to miss anything because it is totally good! And when it ends, you realize that it opens the door for the next book...I was so happy about that. Bring it on!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars perfection, October 26, 2012
This review is from: Eternal (Paperback)
Absolutely worth the read! Was sucked in from the very beginning and could not put it down! I've never read anything quite like it, so it was so new and refreshing, but still had all the elements of the perfect romantic, action, historical thriller. And the historical link added such a richness to the novel. They totally hooked me....crossing my fingers for a trilogy!!! Haven't been able to stop thinking about it!!!! Total fan for life!

Totally LOVED this book. Completely adore Austin and Julia. Almost named my 4th baby Austin because I loved these characters soooooo much. If you liked Twilight you will totally adore Eternal. Loved the twists and turns and loved the intensity. I am soooo hoping that this is the first in an entire series. Go ETERNAL!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Book!, October 22, 2012

I love great young adult books. Although I am quite selective in my tastes, I read all of them, but I don't always finish them. With two kids and a business, reading is my sanctuary. This is by far the best book I've read in a long time. I got completely involved in the love story. These two, Julia and Austin have been trying to find each other for centuries: (They were Heloise and Abelard, the French Romeo and Juliet in another life). The story is original and very well written. Yet it reminds you of huge hits like "Twilight", because of the love story. Just like Katniss in "Hunger Games", Julia is a flawed character. She has to step up and fight. I love how she conquers her own fears. The plot is so scary and clever. There was no way I could put Eternal down, and I usually rarely like anything like I said. This will be an epic movie. I can't wait for the second book to come out! By the way, for me to write a comment the novel really has to be worth it.

This is a breath taking, heart stopping story. You love the girl immediately, with her genius and her flaws. She is indeed very likable, and you can't help cheering for her till the end. Especially because what happens is so scary! I loved the surprises and the action keeps you on the edge of you seat and wanting more. Beautiful love story, as well. Nice triangle. Now I want to read the next book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, great book!, October 13, 2012

I have to say that this book was completely awesome. The girl really has a lot to be afraid of and she is really scared. But she still does what's right. Her friends, her ex-boy friend and new BF all are in a lot of trouble. It is one scary book. You want her so much to escape the demons at the end when all hell runs loose and she almost dies and Austin the BF too! It is also totally romantic and has two love stories in one BTW. Also there is like a mean competition between the two boys for her. I think she should stick to her soul mate like the other comment said. I loved the ending, but I was sorry it was over. It looks like there will be another book because of what happens at the end of this one!

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this book OMG!, October 12, 2012

I have been watching their trailer and was waiting for the book to come out. Well, I felt like already kind of an Eternalist with the trailer, because I liked it a lot. But the book was amazing. It was much better than the short trailer. I couldn't put it down and I really liked that they have two love stories going on. I even researched Heloise and Abelard, because I liked them too. Julia and Austin are their reincarnation and mean demons from the past come back and want to hurt them all over again. It's so good, scary, and so romantic, you have no idea what to expect next, and I just wanted to stay up and read. Then the end is incredible! I can't wait for the next book and want to see the movies too. As per the ex-boyfriend vs. Austin, no! Definitely Austin!!
